I find the cardinal directions the easiest because when I first started learning about it we learned “never eat soggy waffles” and my dad also to liked to teach us about the directions because we travel in the summer. I struggle the most with coordinates because sense it has a bend it's harder for me to tell which number its showing and it's hard for me to figure out which number is the coordinate. Basic map skills are necessary because it could help if we get lost, when we are looking at the map and want to find a specific location, or plan a vacation. They help us understand geography because it's easier to find specific locations.
I noticed how you find cardinal directions easiest and you struggle with coordinates. I found my self wondering what, “because since it has a bend it's harder for me to tell which number its showing” because it made no sense to me. I disagree with “I struggle the most with coordinates” because I personally fin scales harder.

ReplyDeleteI think your blog was really good and organized. When talking about coordinates I think you could’ve explained it a little bit more in a more understanding way, but overall I think your blog was pretty good.

I found my self wondering what, “because since it has a bend it's harder for me to tell which number its showing” means, were you trying to explain how the latitude and longitude lines curve in a map? I disagree with “I struggle the most with coordinates” because I personally find scales harder.
